And because at the moment all roads lead to Versailles let’s point out that Asia Argento (du Barry in Marie Antoinette) is having her abortion during her showstudio weblog.
The things people do for press junkets… I find it not so coincidental that the title of the series is called “Don’t bother to knock”.
Knock, knock, knocked up…
.
Is Marie Antoinette time again. Unless you live in a bubble you might have noticed that a certain queen is resurfacing into our cultural consciousness.

Is Marie Antoinette time again. Unless you live in a bubble you might have noticed that a certain queen is resurfacing into our cultural consciousness.
“You’re considered superficial and silly if you are interested in fashion,” the 35-year-old writer-director is quoted as saying. “But I think you can be substantial and still be interested in frivolity.”
Sofia would make MA proud. I think she really identified with the queen; beauty and wealth, exotic parties, beautiful clothes, beautiful lovers, cool friends, alcohol, drugs, …oh that queen she was so like us.
None the less the movies is pure eye candy.
Yes! The flower is bleu…

Who determoines blog’s popularity? Who cares?! Hillarious and highlarious rethoric at If this is the fifth most popular blog in Europe, then god help us …

Most times watchdog groups are busy barking at the wrong tree , and other times they are simply clueless. Here a perfect example.
Terry Richardson shot another one of his rauch fests evoking “Lolita” for Lee jeans and what does the the Advertising Standards Board decide? That:
‘The woman…is dressed up in a fashion that is prevalent or fashionable among young women for summer’
‘Sometimes consumption of this style of lollipop is now frequent among young women’
and the campaign is
‘tongue in cheek, kitschy and over-exaggerated portrayal of classic denim poses’.
Really?
Those guys are so out to lunch they make me laugh.
I bet those classic denim jeans came off and something more lollipop like came out after the shoot.

Thanks Kevin.
My friends with editorial capabilities have thankfully pointed out that I should put more info, rather than less in my posts. From the post “my roommate and o magazine’ note that his knit line is only for women. And if you would like to see them call the 1-866 to find a location near you.
Busy getting ready for Dean Horn’s show.
Tuesday, October 17th at 5:00pm. Muzik, Exhibition Place.
Here is a preview followed by a map of how to get there.

I don’t like middle America mainstream but when friends are involved, one can make exceptions.
A sweater from my roommate’s knit line called-simply enough- LINE has made it to the November cover of O magazine. And who else could be wearing it but every issue’s cover model Oprah Winfrey; the reigning empress of respectable mainstream. With that said LINE sweaters are always dead on the trend. When I wear them complements always ensue.
I am very happy for him, not only has his and his design partner’s hard work payed off, but now the writing of his unauthorized biography “One sweater at time” seems more plausible than ever!!!
For more info call 1.866.638.5902 (I will try to snag some photos of the collection; because you will for sure want to call)
